This collection was inspired by the beautiful form of the leaves of the Tasmanian Native Beech, or Nothofagus Gunnii. Believed to have been in Tasmania for 40 million years and not found anywhere else in the world, the Nothofagus Gunnii is an iconic symbol of the changing of the seasons. Each year many people journey to sub-alpine locations in Tasmania's ancient forests to witness what is known as the Turning of the Fagus, its magnificent Autumn display.
Each piece has been designed and made in our workshop in Hobart, Tasmania.
