Sargisons is a family-owned goldsmith and silversmith workshop and jewellery store, located in the heart of Hobart, Tasmania.
We specialize in bespoke fine jewellery, including handmade engagement rings, diamond jewellery, and custom wedding bands. As experienced manufacturing jewellers, we design and create one-of-a-kind pieces that are made to last.
Established in 1905 by the late Harold F Sargison, we are proud to be the oldest manufacturing jeweller in Tasmania. For over a century, our reputation has been built on exceptional craftsmanship, integrity, and personalized service.
Our on-site goldsmiths and silversmiths combine traditional techniques with modern innovation to create beautifully handcrafted jewellery. We work with carefully selected diamonds, rare gemstones, pearls, and precious metals, including Australian gold and ethically sourced materials. Every piece of handmade jewellery is crafted with precision, whether it’s a bespoke engagement ring, a custom diamond piece, or a timeless wedding band.
We also specialize in jewellery remodeling, repairs, and restoration. From fine, delicate repairs to complete remakes, we transform and restore heirloom jewellery—preserving its history while making it wearable for today.
